The Boat - Beneteau Figaro II

The Beneteau Figaro II is a 'one design' class for offshore yacht racing and as such is an ideal boat to develop the skills of the sailors who race them. As all the boats are the same it comes down to the knowledge and training of the skipper to get the boat over the finish line first. This creates a level playing field and a (relatively) cost-effective starting point for those wishing to ultimately compete in the IMOCA Open 60 circuit.

With it's own well established class organisation (www.classefigarobeneteau.com) and an exciting race series every year it not only attracts those starting out in the sport but also some of the top names in offshore yacht racing.
